Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. It's a time to be creative and come together with friends, and lets not forget about all of the candy. Halloween has become a huge consumer holiday. It's all about who can have the most creative, hilarious costume and the best decorations. My roommates and I are poor college students who have a hard time "splurging" on a meal at Mcdonalds but we didn't think twice about paying for the halloween decorations for the inside and outside of our apartment. Or the $20 plus we spent on our multiple costumes. And our budget was considered modest in comparison to some of our peers. Halloween is a holiday that everyone can enjoy, no matter their age. It brings people together and that's always a good thing, especially today. Halloween, like most holidays, is not just a day long affair, once it became October the decorations went up and pumpkin everything came out. And when the clock struck 12 and it became November, the Christmas music began to play.
