This is a great book, one of my favorites. It speaks to the importance of putting others first always and working to love others using Jesus as our model .
A good read, especially for Christians who are looking to become more self aware of how they can remain dedicated believers in today's society.
In high school I was a great hitter. I won all sorts of awards and nothing could stop me. In college, I struggled. Not because the competition got better, but because I was struggling with the mental side of the game. I dove into this book and it completely changed my game, raising my batting average .200. I would recomend this book not only to every athlete, but every person who loves to compete and excel.
Lady Gaga is weird to be quite honest with you. I've never been a huge fan of hers, I think she tries to shock people to gain fame. However, she does an outstanding job gaining and keeping a fanbase. A lot can be learned from this book in how to create meaningful relationships with customers.
I am all about storytelling, any book explaining how to do business by story telling I'll read. This book talks about how to do non-profit work through stories.
If you want a clear and concise look at how modern brands are connecting with their customers today, this is it.
An interesting read about, well, marketing to moviegoers. In my opinion, movie theatures are a dying business. It will be interesting to see how these tactics hold up over the next couple of years.
If you're serious about turning content into a business, this is the most detailed, honest, and useful book ever written.
I was gifted this book by my mother on my 20th birthday. The author, Emily Wilson, was a speaker and singer at the first Christian conference I attended when I was 16 years old and she has had a huge impact on my faith journey.
I loved this book! It was a great piece of work talking about how to live your life as if you are leaving it behind as a piece of art.
Podcasts I enjoy
If I'm having a tough week I love to unwind with this podcast. It challenges today's culutre and makes me question the actions I take every day and the way I interact with people, for the better.
Great podcast. Especially love the insight from Jessica Mendoza.
This is a great podcast to listen to on road trips. There's some strong language, but some great information on interesting cases.
A great podcast to gather more about the history of the game.
Movies I Like
You really have to love this movie if you plan to have a career in baseball. What's not to love about it? It's a classic.
Another classic movie, pretty historical accurate.
